22 Weeks

So as you can tell... the Sunday thing isn't really working out for me, but here I am. I am still feeling pretty good. I have really starting feeling our little man moving around in there and Jeff was finally able to feel him last night. Last week was the first time he really made me uncomfortable. I was afraid I might have a kidney or bladder infection, but I ran by the doctors office and everything was okay. So as it turns out... little man was just in a position that was pinching a nerve. But as of today, NO PAIN! I have a Doctors appointment tomorrow morning for my monthly checkup. We'll check the heartbeat and I am going to ask about birthing classes. Anyone have any suggestions on a good course?
We have an exciting week ahead. Thursday I am going to Dallas to have remote start installed on my car and then meeting Lauren to see Sex and City 2. Then Friday Jeff and I are having a new salt water system installed in our pool so we can use it, then we are headed to Colonial and hopefully relaxing. I'm hoping to get registered at some point this weekend, but we'll see. Then Sunday we are going to spend the day at the lake with my parents and whoever else shows up.

I've been meaning to give her the credit for this and keep forgetting, but I really need to thank Whitney for coming up with the clever name of our blog! I was stuck and she saved me!
I would also like to tell you all what an awesome husband I have. He takes such good care of me and I am truly blessed to have him. I had been in a lot of pain and he cooked for me and cleaned up for me to. I might have snapped this picture of him to show off! I love him with everything I have!

And finally... this weeks picture.

21 Weeks!

I hit 21 weeks yesterday. I am really beginning to feel pregnant. I can feel him moving around every now and then and am ready for more of those moments. He definitely knows where to put his body to make me extremely uncomfortable... so I'm a little concerned to how bad it's going to be in a month and in 3 months.

My next appointment with Dr. Motley is next Wednesday. No sonogram this time and that is okay. Although I do really enjoy getting to see him. But hearing his heartbeat is good enough for now. Pray that all goes well!

We ordered baby furniture a little over a week ago and I can't wait to get it in so the decorating can begin. If anyone knows of a good place to get some plain and simple bedding I would love the advice. I'm having a hard time finding bedding that isn't "themed" and I am really just wanting variations of browns.

I think that is about all we have going on right now! I will leave you all with a picture. Sorry if you were hoping for bare belly... I don't think that is going to happen, but I will try to wear the same shirt in all the pictures so you can tell the differences.

Have a blessed week!

Pictures coming soon!

I am officially halfway to the finish line... and super excited about it. I am truly amazed at how many changes our bodies go through in order to accommodate to this little person growing inside. It has been such an awesome journey so far and I am so excited about the next 20 weeks. Well... maybe I should say I'm excited about the pregnancy part... not so much the being 8 and 9 months pregnant during the hottest months of the year. But my "cabana boy" has been working very hard to get our pool ready for the summer months. I have a feeling that I will be spending the majority of my evenings and weekends relaxing in the pool!

I'll have the first of the belly pictures up Sunday. My plan is to update everyone once a week... I'm hoping for Sunday being that day... but we'll see how that works.

I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!

For All of You!

So... I'm not really the blogging type... sure I love to read them, but I'd never thought that I would create one for us. It just seemed like it would take so much time and energy to create and keep up with. However, after finding out about our new addition to the family I thought it was time to step into the world of blogging. I will be able to post updates on the pregnancy to let our friends and family members know how things are going and even post pictures of my ever growing belly. Since many of you continuously request to see what it looks like. I know I'm a few months late in starting, but I guess better late than never.

I'd love for you to post comments and check in to see what is happening on our "road to baby"! What else did I create this thing for.

Welcome to our Family Blog!

Love, Erika
